Lead Test System Design Engineer
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical leadership of a software project
- Software design and development
- Test the interaction of our software with complex video and data acquisition equipment
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to more junior team members
- Perform installations and provide customer training
- Contribute to the development of technical proposals and specifications
- Contribute to the product management function, providing feedback and ideas to help Microsys improve our products and services
Microsys test systems are installed
throughout the USA and overseas. Some travel is required.
MINIMUM
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: A high level of expertise in VB, C++, LabVIEW, data acquisition, test instrumentation and test engineering is required, complemented by significant experience with database(s), .NET, HTML, Java script, and ASP.
EXPERIENCE: Four or more years of software design experience is required. Experience in automotive or aerospace test systems development is an asset. Experience in crash testing and digital image processing will be especially beneficial.

EDUCATION: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or
equivalent experience. An advanced degree would be considered an asset.
