Airbag Inflator & Ballistics Test Tanks

Overview

Microsys inflator and ballistics test tanks lead the industry in terms of features and productivity.

For example, the Microsys iTank includes a submarine style door for easy access without the need for power tools. A water cooling jacket allows for very fast test cycle times by rapidly bringing the tank wall temperature back to ambient levels.

Size availability includes 28.3L (1 cubic foot) and 60L, as well as several other sizes.

Microsys iTanks are designed to operate both independently or conjunction with the SureFire Inflator Test System.

A curtain airbag inflator test tank is designed for new generation CAB inflators that can be as much as 1.9 meter long.

Tank door and body are constructed of 304 stainless steel

Polished interior

Comes with 14 GA 304 stainless steel water-dimple cooling jacket and 1/2 inch FNPT connections

Comes standard with 4 pressure ports, NPT and metric sizes available

Mount is provided on inside of cover for test specimen

Integral mounting feet for optional stand

Optional mobile tank stand provides tank rotation from -90° to +90°
